Welcome to WPQY525 Repeater The Repeater is located in Duncanville, Texas on a 35' tower and at 690' ASL.The repeater is a Motorola GR300 and the output power from the duplexer is 32 watts into a 9 dbd antenna.The repeater's output frequency is 462.550 and the input is 467.550 with a pl tone of 100.0 or 141.3.The repeater covers (with a mobile) 15-25 miles pending on your location.It will cover some parts of downtown Dallas, out East and West I20,North and South I35, it is a bit spotty on 75 North from downtown Dallas but will do ok up till 75 at 635. This is an "open" repeater. But I would ask if you are using it for the first time to please call WPQY525 on the air first, if their is no answer feel free to use it and please rember to use your valid GMRS call sign.An Amateur Radio license is NOT valid on GMRS. Their is no club membership required or fee to use this repeater. All I ask is that you be nice and have fun.
