The PopularWireless blog was hacked by middle-eastern religious extremists on Saturday. That led to the display of  vile anti-Semitic messages for which I was not responsible.  I notified the FBI and my service provider. The offending page was brought down.  Some steps were taken by the service provider that probably did not need to be taken like a database restore. Their back up was dated 1/25. I’m looking for a more recent backup here since I believe some posts and comments were lost. The hackers replaced the index.php files on the site so that a standard HTML page would display in lieu of the blog. No data went into the database.

Network Solutions has no idea how this happened. As to why, one only has to point to the madness of those involved and the hatred they have for the United States and Israel. makes you wonder though why a Pennsylvania company acts as the hacker’s domain registrar.  This particular hacking group is very active world-wide spreading their contempt for human kind. They even maintain a website for themselves as brazen as it sounds.

I apologize if the act offended anyone. It was up a little longer so that I could determine if law enforcement was interested in seeing the page. This group is so prolific that the FBI wasn’t too concerned and suggested the hacking be dealt with as any other form of trespass by a report to the local Sheriff.

Again very sorry that vile message appeared here.
